Frequently Asked Questions
If I modify an SVG file from Tibbixel and it becomes significantly different from the original design, can I still use it commercially?
No, modifying our files and then using them for commercial purposes is not allowed.
Can I print iron-on transfers using any type of inkjet printer ink, or do I need special inks?
You can use regular photo-quality inkjet printer ink. However, it's recommended to use water-resistant or sublimation-specific inks for optimal durability and colorfastness on the transfer.
Why might some of my layer names appear as duplicates when importing a DXF file into AutoCAD?
This could be due to multiple source CAD software applications using the same name for different layers. Try renaming your layers in one of the source programs to resolve this issue.
How do I save a DXF file in the correct format for use with my vinyl cutter?
Save the file as a "DXF (Drawing Exchange Format)" file type, setting the resolution and other options accordingly. Some software may also require you to select the "Cutting" or "Vinyl Cutting" export option.
